About the Program

IIT Kanpur is one of the resource centers identified under the project ‘Capacity building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)’ funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). IIT Kanpur has a rich history of conducting research and teaching in unmanned aerial systems and is first institute in the country to start MTech program on UAS.

Relevance

Ideal introductory course to give complete overview of dynamics of UAV / drone technology and its control design for instructors looking to impart skills in theory and practice related to UAV, navigation, operation, and control.

The nominations are accepted on first-come first-served basis and first 20 nominations (those from participating institutes) is - Free (only for faculty and Ph.D. scholars).

Personnel from Industries/ R&D Organizations 15,000 + 2,700(18% GST) = 17,700/-
