Applications are invited for the position of Teaching Staff for ETH111 - Practical Ethics (06) to work with the Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs. The post is temporary, and the appointment will be purely on an Adhoc basis for one year. The period may be further extended based on performance and institutional requirements.

(A) Essential Qualification and Post Qualification Experience:
(i) Master's degree with at least 55% marks in any one of the following disciplines from a recognised University / Institute:
- Philosophy / Ethics
- Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Applied Psychology
- Social Work / Sociology / Humanities / Education
- Engineering
- Any allied discipline relevant to teaching ethics, personal development, social issues and student life
(ii) Excellent communication and conversational skills.
(B) Desirable:
(i) Excellent academic record.
(ii) Participation and excellence in community services.
(iii) Credible involvement in team building and leadership activities.
(iv) Prior experience in:
- Conducting group discussions, tutorials or mentoring programmes.
- Handling topics related to ethics, integrity, student conduct, diversity, technology ethics, stress management or life skills.
(v) Experience of working with students in a higher-education campus environment will be preferred.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting tutorials and discussion-based sessions for the course ETH111 - Practical Ethics, which is a compulsory UG core course. The course aims to sensitize students about ethical behaviour, personal integrity, social responsibility, gender sensitivity, diversity, digital ethics, and issues faced by IITK UG students through case studies and group discussions
Salary: Rs. 65,000/- per month consolidated
