Applications are invited for the post of a Deputy Project Manager. The project involves improving industry-academia interactions, and catalyzing innovation ecosystem in IIT Kanpur. The appointment is purely contractual, and duration of contract is one year or till the end of the Project, whichever is earlier. Renewal of appointment on these positions is subject to satisfactory performance.

Salary Range: 19200-1600-48000)

Essential Qualification: CA/ICWA/CS or Post-graduate (MBA/ MCA/ MCom/ MSc/ MA) + 5 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Skills: Relevant industry experience in handling accounts and finance of an organization; Handling IPRs, Trademark filings and Copyright issues; Good Communication Skills; MS office (word and excel); Working knowledge of Tally software

Job Profile

  1. Overseeing finances and accounts of the project.
  2. Maintaining financial records and project bills; handling GST, TDS and other tax related activities.
  3. Handling the legal matters.
  4. Handling the trademark, copyrights and patent queries
  5. Any other responsibility assigned by PI.

Desirable Skills: Relevant industry experience in handling social media channels, including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram; Event Management; Good Communication Skills; Knowledge of design software like Coral, Photoshop, Illustrator; MS office (word and excel).

Job Profile

  1. Handling social media channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
  2. Handling internal and external communications of the office.
  3. Creating and managing marketing collaterals like flyers, brochures, websites.
  4. Organizing industry-academia events and SIG meets.
  5. Liaising with outside media.
  6. Writing and proof-reading copies.
  7. Designing marketing strategy and promotional activities.
  8. Any other responsibility assigned by PI
