Mr. Jitendra Nath Gupta (BT/EE/1977) is the Executive Director, Securities and Exchange Board of India in Mumbai. Prior to this, Mr. Gupta has served as the Group CFO of Kazstroy Service Group. Mr. Gupta has held senior positions in State Bank of India, Grasim Industries Limited, Indo Gulf Fertilisers and Kazstroy Service Group and has worked in SEBI from July 1994 to July 1996. A B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, Mr. Gupta also holds qualifications in CAIIB and Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mr. Gupta instituted Shri Jagdeo Narain Gupta & Smt. Murti Devi Gupta Chair in memory of his parents. The Chair is open to all departments of Sciences and Engineering.
Prof. Yogesh Singh Chauhan, Department of Electrical Engineering, research interests include Nanoelectronics Compact modeling of semiconductor devices (Bulk/SOI MOSFET, Multigate FET, Nanowire, UTBSOI and novel devices) SPICE Modelling of High Voltage/Power Semiconductor Devices (LDMOS, VDMOS, IGBT, HEMT etc.) BSIM model development and support (with BSIM Group at University of California Berkeley) Atomistic Simulation of Nanoscale Devices. He Received IBM Faculty Award (2013), Ramanujan Fellowship by Department of Science and Technology (2012), Honorable Mention Award in IEEE VLSI conference (2008) and was senior Member of IE. He completed M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and PhD from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland in 2007.
Prof. Jitendra K. Bera, Department of Chemistry, specializes in the area of Organometallic Catalysis, and his research interests are in the fields of Bimetallic Synergism, Small Molecule Activation, Metal-Ligand Cooperativity, N-Heterocyclic Carbene, Green Chemistry. He earned his doctorate from IISc Bangalore in 1999.
