How do I make a monthly donation? +
To set up a recurring donation, visit the MAGIK page and click "Donate". Select "Recurring", choose the amount & frequency, then verify your bank details.
How can I update my credit card details if my card is expired? +
You will need to reactivate your recurring donation with new card details.
Where does my money go? +
Your donations support scholarships, research, infrastructure, and student programs at IIT Kanpur.
When will my donation be deducted? +
Your donation is deducted monthly on the same date you initiated the recurring payment.
What are the tax benefits and when can I get my receipt? +
Donations are 100% tax-deductible. Indian receipts are issued in April; US receipts in January.
When will my name be reflected on the wall of donors? +
After your payment is received in our account (usually 4–5 working days).
How can I cancel my donation? +
Indian donors can cancel via bank net banking (subscriptions section). US donors can cancel via the Zeffy link.
Can I get one combined receipt for all my donations this year? +
Monthly donors receive a cumulative annual receipt. One-time donations have individual receipts only.
