Indo US Science and Technology Forum
The Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not-for-profit society that promotes and catalyses bilateral collaborations in science, technology and innovation through substantive interaction between government, academia and industry. (www.iusstf.org).
In order to realise its mandate, IUSSTF provides grant-in-aid to support “Scientific Networks and Networking Events”, “Capacity Building (Research Fellowships and Internships)”, “Scientific Research & Development” and “Technology Commercialisation for Societal Impact” across India and the United States through a rich and dynamic portfolio of programs in multifaceted areas of science, engineering and medicine. Some of the specific areas of intervention as per the current priorities are Clean energy, Water, Agriculture, Waste to Wealth, Affordable Healthcare and Biomedical Devices, Financial & Social Inclusiveness, and Environmental Sustainability.
