Applications are invited for a temporary position of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow in a Wellcome Trust sponsored project at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.
Project Post-Doctoral Fellow.
Minimum Qualification: Ph.D* from a reputed university/institute and an excellent track record and publications /patents in a research area relevant to the sponsored project.
Desirable work experience: (I) Experience in computational modelling of biomolecular systems using molecular mechanics. (II) Experience in using GROMACS, AMBER, OpenMM, or CHARMM molecular simulation software packages. (III) Familiar with visualization software like VMD. (IV) Experience in Fortran/C/C++/Python programming. (V) Familiar with GNUPLOT or PyPlot.
Salary Range: 60000-5000-85000
The position is purely temporary, initially for one year, and it can be extended further based on performance till the duration of the project.
