Applications are invited for the post of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow (1 position) to work under a sponsored project entitled, “Real-Time Source Apportionment and Forecasting for Advance Air Pollution Management in Delhi”. The Post is purely temporary on contractual basis.

The work involves coordination with team in field work, handling of the sophisticated analytical instruments (IC, GCMS, ICP-MS), Air Quality Modeling using WRF-Chem, Source apportionment using CMB/PMF, Emission Inventory, and Control Planning.

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (Civil Engineering) with minimum one year post-PhD relevant experience and expertise in the desired area.

Desirable Experience: Experience on handling of the sophisticated analytical instruments (IC, GCMS, ICP-MS), Air Quality Modeling using WRF-Chem, Source apportionment using CMB/PMF, Emission Inventory and Control Planning.

Nature of Work: The applicant will be responsible for coordinating with research team and technical staff, reporting and quality measurements and handling of large data sets evolved during such monitoring and analysis.

Duration: One year (extendable depending upon satisfactory performance or availability of funds) or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier.

Salary Range: Rs. 50000 / 55000 / 60000
