Applications are invited for the following positions in the project entitled, “Grid Readiness for EV: Enablers and Technological developments (GREET)”, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India.
Project Scientist-II (1 Position)
Salary: Rs 92,000 + HRA (20% as per ANRF norms).
Minimum Academic Qualification:
Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent
and
Three years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities and services
Job Summary:
The Project Scientist-II will contribute to the planning, execution, and documentation of research activities under an ANRF-supported project. The position requires strong technical expertise, independent research capability, and the ability to coordinate with the Principal Investigator and project team to meet milestones and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned research, experimentation, analysis, and technical development work under the project.
- Design, implement, and validate methods, tools, systems, or prototypes relevant to the project objectives.
- Support project planning, progress tracking, and timely submission of deliverables.
- Coordinate with collaborators, students, vendors, and stakeholders as required.
- Maintain records, technical documentation, and compliance with project procedures.
- Assist in proposal-related work, review activities, and dissemination of research findings.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Doctoral Degree in Science or master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably within R&D, innovation, or technology-driven environments.
- Relevant research or development experience in the project domain.
- Strong analytical, computational, and documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of tools, software, or equipment required for the assigned research area.
- Preferred Attributes: Experience in managing multi-partner or multi-institutional R&D projects, ability to understand and communicate complex technical topics in simple terms, familiarity with reporting requirements for research sponsors or government funding bodies.
- Experience working with IoT devices, embedded systems, SCADA systems, cloud platforms, and middleware integration, tailored to project requirements.
- Familiar with end-to-end system integration, including sensor/data acquisition, device communication, supervisory monitoring, cloud connectivity, and backend data handling.
