Applications are invited for one post of Project Manager in the project "Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Professor Chair", IIT Kanpur

Duration of appointment: One year from the date of appointment or till the end of the project 30-06-2027

Salary: 53240 – 58564 consolidated (monthly)

Minimum Qualification: Post Graduate degree + 08 years of relevant experience or Graduate with 15 years of relevant experience at appropriate level or (CA/ICWA/CS) + 2 years of relevant experience at supervisory level in a Govt. organization or in educational institute or in organization of repute.

Desirable:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Having prior experience working in a team and managing a team
• Certificate/Diploma in accounts
• PG Diploma in computer applications
• Working experience in Online Tender process/ Purchase/ Procurement procedures/ Comparative statements/ Knowledge of GEM/CPPP portal
• Experience in maintaining Stock Registers, Account statements, Letter writing, Maintaining office records, ledgers, academic and project-related files, etc.
• Should have excellent Communication Skills in Hindi & English, possess pleasant personality and should be able to communicate with students, campus residents, Faculties & Institute Guests
• Administrative and management skills, recruitment process

Job responsibilities: Online & offline correspondence, online tender process, procurement through GeM/CPPP, maintenance of stock registers, accounting related to expenditures at Project, Recruitments and maintenance of various project files. Liaising with the different departments in IITK. Other miscellaneous tasks assigned on a time-to-time basis from the PI.
