Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Scientist in a project entitled LAB DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT – XRF.

Position:

• Senior Project Scientist

Essential Qualification:

• Ph.D. + 1 year relevant experience, or Postgraduate + 4 years relevant experience in Earth Science/Geology

Desirable:

• Experience in operation, calibration, and maintenance of WD-XRF (Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence) instrument, including sample preparation and elemental data interpretation.
• Experience in operation, maintenance, and data processing of IRMS (Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry) system for stable isotope analysis.
• Experience/expertise in petrology/geochemistry will be preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, good communication skills

Duration of appointment:

• The appointment for the above post will be initially for a period of one year, which might be extended up to another two years or until the end of the project, if the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory.
• The post is purely temporary and on a contractual basis

Salary Range:

• 38800-3200-96400

Note:
