Applications are invited for the Posts of Project Manager in the HSS Department, IIT Kanpur.

Salary: Rs. 29000-2400-72200

Duration of Appointment: One year from the date of appointment (Term extendable based on the performance and requirement)

Minimum Qualification & Post qualification Experience:

  • Post Graduate degree + 8 years OR Graduate degree + 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in managing academic or institutional websites preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end updates.

Responsibilities / Desirability:

  • Design, develop & maintain the departmental website and social media platforms (Linkedin, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, You Tube etc.) with modern aesthetics and user-friendly navigation.
  • Regularly update academic, research & administrative content.
  • Integrate dynamic modules (faculty profiles, publications, events, news).
  • Ensure responsive design and cross-platform compatibility (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Manage hosting, domain, and data backups.
  • Coordinate with departmental faculty and staff for content review and updates.

This post is purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year with renewal based on satisfactory performance. Interested candidates should send their detailed CV with experience through e-mail on or before 25-11-2025 with subject: “Application for the Post of Project Manager”.
