Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT Kanpur for a ANRF-ARG Project sponsored research (File No. ANRF /ARG/2025/001228/MS).

Broad area of Research: Operator Theory, Several Complex Variables

Duration of the position: maximum upto 1 year

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 69,600/- (including HRA)

Accommodation: Accommodation (Hostel or Married scholar accommodation) will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades) in Mathematics, with a very good academic record in all preceding degrees. Fresh Ph.D.’s are encouraged to apply. Candidates who have submitted their dissertation and are awaiting for the oral exam can also apply.

Preferences will be given to candidates working in the field of Operator Theory on function spaces.
