Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the project “Development of a novel underwater welding process for defect free joints using in-situ imaging and machine learning". The qualification and experience requirements for the above-mentioned post are:

Designation: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of positions: One

Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, and Material science or any related branch + GATE/NET

Desirable:

• Degree from a reputed university/institute with an excellent academic record will be preferred
• Experience in Welding/Underwater welding will be preferred
• Experience in Boiling/Heat Transfer and high-speed/IR imaging
• Experience/expertise in CFD/ Coding in MATLAB
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, good communication skills

Salary: Rs.37,000/- PM + 18% HRA

Duration of Appointment: The position is purely temporary, and only for 11 months.
