Vacancy for One Junior Research Fellow
Minimum Qualifications (any one): MSc/MTech/M.E. in Environmental/ Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science & Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or allied subjects with GATE/NET qualification
or
B.Tech./B.E. in relevant discipline with a valid GATE score
Position: Junior Research Fellow (01)
Salary: ₹37,000 per month + HRA 8%
Desirable Qualifications / Experience: The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of air quality monitoring, climate change studies, or sustainability-focused projects, along with hands-on experience in handling scientific equipment, conducting field data collection, and performing data analysis.
Nature of Work: The position is for a duration of one year or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier, and may be renewed annually based on performance, quality outcomes, and adherence to mitigation and policy objectives. The role involves analysing air quality datasets, monitoring, field works at Jammu etc. or any other tasks as assigned by the reporting officer.
Durationof Appointment: 1-year contract, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
