Essential Qualification: Graduate degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Post-graduate degree, in fields closely related to Environment Sciences/Engineering, Public Policy, and Data analysis.

Required skills:

1. Experience with at least one statistical analysis language required; Python strongly preferred.
2. Proficiency in data analysis and research methodologies.
3. Strong initiative and a resourceful approach to problem-solving and learning.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory and policy documents, and provide strategic recommendations.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize multiple sources.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
7. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
8. Capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
9. Knowledge of environment policy issues preferred.

Nature of position: Temporary / Contractual

Duration of appointment: 1 Year or till the end of the project (whichever is earlier), renewed annually based on performance.

Salary: INR 21600-1800-54000 per month consolidated (Salary shall be commensurate with experience & skills)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reviews literature; collects and analyses (coding, review, and cleaning) data to identify trends or patterns and provide insights through graphs, charts, tables and reports using data visualization methods to enable data-driven planning, decision-making, presentation and reporting.
2. Ensures knowledge management processes of identifying, organizing, storing, and disseminating This includes managing data bases to support implementation and promoting the exchange of relevant scientific and technical information among relevant stakeholders.
3. Facilitates the development and dissemination of reports, handbooks, policy papers etc.
4. Providing substantive support in organising meetings, workshops and other outreach activities.
5. Interest in and aptitude for developing advanced programming and analytic skills.
6. Performs other duties as required.
