Applications are invited for the post of Senior Project Mechanic, NWTF IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Post: Senior Project Mechanic

Number of Post: Two

Salary range: Salary: INR 13000-1100-32800 per month (consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: 03 years Engineering Diploma or High School + ITI + 5 years of relevant experience + prior experience in wind tunnel.

Desirable Qualification:

• Familiar with wind tunnel model instrumentation & testing.
• Familiar with basic experimental techniques for wind tunnel testing.
• The candidate should have good knowledge of wind tunnel model preparation, fabrication of FRP model, fitting & assembly of wind tunnel models
• Handle various instrument for wind tunnel including computers & other peripheral devices

NWTF reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing the eligible candidates who satisfy qualification and experience. Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview.
