Applications are invited for the post of a project engineer to work full time in a sponsored project, funded by DST. Please note that the post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Post: Project Engineer (one post)
Duration: One Year
Qualification: M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering and specialization in Experimental Aerodynamics
Salary range: Rs. 22,000-2200-44,000 per month (consolidated)
Desirable:
- Experience in experimental aerodynamics, and hands on experience in bypass boundary layer transition in zero and adverse pressure gradient boundary layers
- Experience in the measurement techniques: particle image velocimetry, hotwire anemometry
- The candidate is expected to be proficient in PIV data analysis using Matlab and Tecplot; experience in data analysis techniques like Fourier analysis, proper orthogonal decomposition analysis, linear stability analysis.
The candidates with most suitable background for the present project will be preferred.
