Assistant Project Manager
Applications are invited for a temporary and contractual post of Assistant Project Manager under the project entitled: “Field-deployable quantum-enhanced sensors on integrated hybrid platform” funded by the National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Kanpur.
Minimum Qualification:
Post graduate degree
Or
Graduate degree + 3 years of relevant experience.
Desirable Qualifications and Expertise:
The candidate should have one or more of the following:
- Experience in office and project administration and large-scale multi-PI project management in academic or R&D settings
- Familiarity with procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting in government-funded projects
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in drafting official correspondence through electronic and conventional modes
- Experience in coordinating with vendors, preparing comparative statements, and processing orders
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, OneDrive,and basic data management tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, team work ethics, with attention to detail
Salary Range:
Rs. 16000-1300-38000/- per month (consolidated, based on qualifications and experience)
Term of Appointment:
The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, for three years, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
