Applications are invited for a temporary and contractual post of Assistant Project Manager under the project entitled: “Field-deployable quantum-enhanced sensors on integrated hybrid platform” funded by the National Quantum Mission (NQM) at IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification:

Post graduate degree

Or

Graduate degree + 3 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualifications and Expertise:

The candidate should have one or more of the following:

• Experience in project administration and office management in an academic, research, or government organization.
• Experience in procurement, purchase processing, preparation of indents, follow-up with vendors, and coordination with institute administrative offices.
• Experience in maintaining inventory, stock registers, asset records, and project documentation.
• Experience in handling official correspondence, file management, and record keeping.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email communication, and preparation of reports and spreadsheets.
• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with faculty members, project staff, students, vendors, and external agencies.
• Experience in assisting with logistics for meetings, workshops, procurement, and project-related activities.
• Working knowledge of institute purchase procedures, documentation, and office administration will be preferred.

Salary Range:

Rs. 16000-1300-38000/- per month (consolidated, based on qualifications and experience)

Term of Appointment:

The appointment is purely temporary and contractual, for three years, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
