IIT KANPUR invites applications for the post of a Project Executive Officer in Advanced Energy Systems Modeling.

We are inviting applications for the position of project executive officer to join the research team at IIT Kanpur, working on the development of advanced energy systems modeling tools. The project focuses on building techno-economic models for energy systems using mathematical modeling and optimization techniques.

Position: Project Executive Officer – Energy Systems Modelling.

Duration of Appointment:

• 1 Year or till the end of the project (whichever is earlier), renewed annually based on performance & funding.

Salary Range: 50400-4200-126000 per month consolidated (Salary shall be commensurate with experience & skills).

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/ Energy/ Power Systems with excellent grades (>7.0 CGPA or 70%) in the Bachelor's & /or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering /Energy Engineering or an equivalent academic degree.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and/or Python programming.

Desirable experience:

• Post-PhD in any academic / research institute/ university of national/international systems.
• Experience in electrical energy system modelling and techno-economic analysis, Knowledge of power generation and storage systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication journals.
• Strong track record of publication in reputed international journals.
