IIT KANPUR invites applications for the post of a Project Post-Doctoral Fellow in Centre of Excellence on Innovative and Integrated Ecosystem for Green Hydrogen.

We are inviting applications for the position of Project Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the research team at IIT Kanpur, working on the development of optimal energy management strategies and application of advance energy storage technologies with green hydrogen (GH) integrated system. The project will develop test setup and perform experimental studies for validating the energy management strategies for GH Application.

Duration of Appointment

• 1 Year or till the end of the project (whichever is earlier), renewed annually based on performance & funding.

Salary Range: 60000-5000-85000 per month consolidated (Salary shall be commensurate with experience & skills).

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Ph.D in Electrical Engineering/ Energy/ Power Systems with excellent grades (>7.0 CGPA or 70%) in the Bachelor's & /or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering /Energy Engineering or an equivalent academic degree.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and/or Python programming.
• Experimental work experience with digital simulator/ controller.

Desirable experience

• Experience in electrical energy system simulation modelling and experimental validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong track record of publication in reputed international journals.
