This requirement is for a Project Post-Doctoral Fellow having experience in field installation of wind and solar hybrid system for field and lab setup at Ladakh. Additionally, the position will also involve handling all the admission, administrative, record - keeping, student liaisoning, and related work of Sindhu Central University (SCU) students placed at IIT Kanpur. The position is currently till July 31, 2026.

Remuneration will be as per IIT Kanpur norms and the candidate’s experience.

The job profile involves:

Wind – Solar hybrid laboratory setup at Ladakh
Plans, schedules, supervises and participates in the day-to-day activities & oversees the admissions and records office, which performs various functions related to student registration and class enrolment, attendance, grade management, result generation, transfers, graduation requirement, graduation, and various student forms.
To liaise with the institute’s DOAA, DOSA, hostel, health centre, and other related office staff.
Provide support in creating documents as required by SCU.
To interpret SCU policies, rules and regulations, and operational procedures.
Answers inquiries and investigates and resolves non-routine problems related to registration, enrolment, fee assessments, residency, and other related areas.
To assist in the coordination of any off-campus admissions and registration.
To utilize standard office software applications to compile data and prepare reports and correspondence concerning student admissions and records matters.
Utilises specialized computer application programs for applications, electronic transcripts, and degree audits.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification: - Ph.D* from a reputed university /institute and an excellent track record and publications /patents in a research area relevant to the project

Necessary attributes:

Knowledge in wind & hydro- turbines, internal post measurement, flow visualization and wind tunnel measurement & particle image velocimetry.
Good written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
Takes ownership of all responsibilities and honours commitments
Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals
Good knowledge of MS-office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Age Limit: - Max 40 years.

Salary Range: 60000-5000-85000

Related work experience of > 2 years.
