Applications are invited for two posts of ‘Research Analyest’ under the project entitled “Prediction of Spacecraft Charging Under Real-time Space Environment Conditions” for a duration of two years.

Minimum Qualification:

PhD OR Postgraduate + 3 Yrs relevant experience.

Desirable Qualification & Experience:

• Ph.D. in physics or M.Tech/MSc in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science / Electronics / Physics / Mathematics or any other related fields with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in C++ and Python programming
• Strong understanding of Electromagnetism
• Practical experience with solving differential equations.
• Familiarity with numerical techniques.

Nature of work:

• Formulation of the bulk spacecraft charging simulation
• Making prediction models based on real charged environment conditions
• Development of the simulation package for the same
• Development of the graphical user interface
• Preparation of technical reports and presentations.

Salary: 34,200 per month + 20% HRA, based on qualifications.

Duration of appointment: The appointment will be purely temporary for a period of two years. After two years, based on the progress, the Mtech and MSc candidates may have a possibility of enrolling on the IIT PhD program in the same field.
