Applications are invited for the different posts mentioned below in the Institute Works Department at IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Project Technician

Number of Posts: Two

Essential Qualification: B. Sc + 4 Yrs relevant Exp. Or 3 Years Engg. Diploma + 4 Years of relevant experience of civil works in a govt. or high school + ITI + 9 years of relevant experience.

Desirable: The candidate should have Diploma in Civil Engineering with 10 years experience, Knowledge of Auto CAD and preparation of drawing, tendering, e-tendering in various online e-tendering portal, inviting quotations, preparation of tender documents etc.

Scale of pay: Rs. 14400-1200-36000

Note:

1. All Posts are temporary and on contractual basis for a maximum period of three years.
2. Candidates who have significant experience and expertise in the relevant area shall be given preference.
3. No TA/DA will be paid by for attending the written test/interview.

IWD office reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualification and experience. Only short-listed candidates will accordingly be called for interview.

The candidates, who will be called for interview, have to show their original certificates, experience certificates etc. at the time of interview.
