We know that good administration needs educated leaders, well this is what Dr. Sanjeeb Patjoshi believed and achieved. He was a highly motivated leader and also highly educated, getting his BTech Degree from VNIT Nagpur in Electrical Engineering, from where he received distinguished alumnus award in 2019, he moved on to Complete his masters from Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur in 1988. He, being a natural leader, completed his MBA from the combined program of IIM Bangalore and Syracuse University in 2008.

He was the recipient of distinguished alumnus award from IIT Kanpur in 2011, owing to his Exceptional Merit. As a symbol of his high levels of Professional Integrity and his constant struggle to uphold human values, He was awarded with the Satyendra K Memorial award by IIT Kanpur in 2011. He also completed his Ph.D. in Economics and Entrepreneurial Development to obtain his Doctorate.

With a Strong will to serve the country and uphold law and order, He ascended to the esteemed position of an IPS officer in Kerala State cadre. He was managing director to chief executive in various public sectors like State cooperation of dairy and milk federation, state road transport Cooperation and also state film development cooperation in Kerala State and was director of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) until he became Joint Secretary to Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India in 2016.

In 2010, Sanjeeb Patjoshi received pride of India award in Bangalore, For his contribution in dairy sector. He was joint director to ministry of tribal affairs, GOI and also police commissioner of Calicut city, ADC to the governor of Kerala and more importantly not only he was integral in national development, but also he was prominent on International stage as he was officer of communication in the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, Europe for which he was awarded with medal in 2001.

He also became Director in National Institute of Cooperative Management & Director in SAARC International Centre of Agricultural Banking, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt of India. Dr. Patjoshi also worked as chairman and managing Director of Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation and was also CEO Of various organisations like Council of Food Research and Development, College of Indigenous Food Technology in Cochin, Kerala.

He was appointed as Director General Department of Fire Force and Rescue Services and Commandant General Kerala Home Guards, Government of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram and later was appointed as Chairman and Managing director, Kerala police housing and construction cooperation limited.

He was awarded the President of India medal for meritorious service in 2016. Dr. Sanjeeb Patjoshi, with profound knowledge and strong managerial acumen demonstrated in various significant roles, is dedicated in serving the country and stands as motivation to present generation and stands as Esteemed Alumnus of IIT Kanpur.
