Introduction: 

Concept:

This will involve 2 Scales (steel strip) .The lower scale will have the mechanism of bending the pin and the upper one will have a bit of flexibility .

This will involve 2 slider (channels) .For exact alignment there will be equally spaced holes. The stapler part will have 2 protrusions which will get inserted in these holes. The idea was ruled out because protrusion-hole concept is not too smooth in its functioning.

 This involves a rubber support for sliding. The 2 rods above and below are joined by a pin joint. This does not give sufficient increase in length.
