Introduction:
Certain people have limited control over their fingers. In this situation, even a simple task such as turning a page of a book becomes challenging. The objective of this project is to build a utility to turn pages, for such people who cannot use their hands (especially fingers) as well as most of us can. We are trying to use the process of design to help them overcome this limitation
Objective:
Bad odor in shoes is an everyday problem especially to the student community at large. Comfortable shoe design has been researched for over decades now but this problem has not been addressed by the shoe industry yet. There have been some efforts in this direction but the solutions offered suffer from drawbacks such as discomfort, uneasiness to the feet, high costs and non reliability, which has prevented them from use in common practice. Particularly these are not suitable for Indian market owing to their costs. The current project aims to design an attachment for shoes which can take care of above problems. Its main features will be its low cost and easy replacement.
Conclusion:
The attachment is very cost effective and easily replaceable which is quite suitable for the Indian conditions. One time filling of the freshener is effective for long periods and so there is no frequent refilling. Unlike the traditional sticky lotions and powders, it does not dirties our feet. Also, using different types of fresheners we can combat bacterial growth and moisture. Better material can be used for soaking and circulation of freshener.
