Introduction:

 

Certain people have limited control over their fingers. In this situation, even a simple task such as turning a page of a book becomes challenging. The objective of this project is to build a utility to turn pages, for such people who cannot use their hands (especially fingers) as well as most of us can. We are trying to use the process of design to help them overcome this limitation



 

 

 

 

Conclusion:

We successfully implemented the design we considered and we hope that our product will be a worthy contribution to people who cannot use their hands very well. We intend to present our work to a group of spastic children in Kanpur City and get their feedback. Two ideas that are worthy of mention are

1. The weight of the product can be further reduced by using a lighter material in place of the MDF Board.

2. A mechanism can be incorporated to vary the height of the motor-rod assembly from the plane of the board
