Introduction:

Recycling and reuse. These two words put together meant the whole world on1y to the environmentalists, a few years back. Today almost everyone.That is with the exception at. our esteemed Institute IIT Kanpur,seemes to have grasped the significance of these words. At a time when the Institute is facing a severe resource crunch it has chosen to still remain indecent to the issue of  generating resources by reusing and recycling used paper. This work deals with the problem that ails the Institute at large. in terms of paper use and also various means by which used paper can be reused and recycled  

 CONCLUSION

To the superficial observer the problem o£ paper wastage appears to be trivial. However as is evident from the study of the amount of money involved more importantly the ethical implication o£ the issue do not leave any room £or complacency and indifference. It is high time that the authorities paid  to this glaring problem and took constructive steps to pass a policy at the Institute level.
