Introduction:
Certain people have limited control over their fingers. In this situation, even a simple task such as turning a page of a book becomes challenging. The objective of this project is to build a utility to turn pages, for such people who cannot use their hands (especially fingers) as well as most of us can. We are trying to use the process of design to help them overcome this limitation
Objective:
The main motivation behind the project was to think that is rather simpler but innovative and should be well useful to our society. We thought of three different projects out of which the 'automated tablets ejection box' was one. It can be seen that people stand in long queues at the medicine distribution counters, so we decided to go for the above described project. The idea was to make the tablet distribution process simpler, quick and more hygienic.
Survey was conducted in a few hospitals in the kanpur city and it was found out that the product will be extremely useful to these hospitals and it was going to be indeed a valuable product to the society.
Conclusion:
We have presented here a basic idea and a new approach towards making the process of distribution of medicines easier. But the product has some manufacturing and inefficiency problem which can be improved by certain modification in the design (not including the complex machinery) which is possible when many trials are done with tablets of different shape and size:
