 Introduction:

 

The origin of this idea lies in the inappropriate design of conventional regulators which are the source of causing a great deal of discomfort. The conventional regulators broadly have two major problems. The first is the power consumption and the second is the manual regulation of speed. Our project has been aimed at counteracting mainly the latter. The problem becomes acute mainly in the rainy and autumn season when there is a considerable change in the temperature. During night when we go to sleep we turn the fan to full speed. But as the night progresses the temperature falls. As the night progresses we start feeling a bit cold and our sleep gets disturbed causing a lot of discomfort. So to counteract this problem our device regulates the speed automatically by sensing the fall in temperature and converting it into voltage which automatically regulates the speed of fan.

 

Need - Temperature controlled device to be used along with regulator which automatically regulates fan speed depending on the ambient temperature.

 

 

Specification and constraints

 

It should be full proof as far as safety of the user is concerned.

Price of the product should not be high than Rs.500.00.

It should be compact and reliable.

We should not use any battery etc.

Heating in the instrument should be less so that it can rum for a long stretch of time.

There should be arrangement so that customer can run it automatically and manually both ways.

Appliance should be such that it can be fitted with the fan easily.

It should not consume too much power.
