Structural Dynamics and Mechanics of Nanomaterials

Presently, our group is studying applicability of non-local continuum field theories to understand saturation of frequencies in single-walled carbon nanotubes found in our molecular mechanics simulations and non-linear vibrations of single-layer graphene sheets. We are also studying mode localization in planer structures and elastic continuum.
