Structure-Mechanical Property Relations of Metals, Alloys, Composite Materials and Polymer Hydrogels

Our work focuses on relating the microscopic structure to the macroscopic properties of a variety of materials. We build models of microscopic physical phenomena that capture  technologically important properties such as fracture toughness, creep curves and plastic response.
