Lodhar is a village situated at a distance of 3 Km from IIT Kanpur. Wireless LAN setup is established at Vivekanand Jagriti Primary School situated at Lodhar.

This place has worked as launchpad for Digital Gangetic Plains project. All initial studies and experiments were done here.
