Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the project titled " Steady and Unsteady Characteristics of Impinging Elliptical Jet with Varying Aspect Ratio at Overexpanded Conditions " funded by the Council of Science and Techmology, U.P.

Name of the Post: Research Assistant

Salary: Rs. 28,000 (Consolidated) per month.

Minimum Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (preferably Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering) or M.E./M.Tech./M.S.R./M.Sc. in any Engineering Department where Fluid Mechanics is a focus.

Essential Skillset: A basic understanding of high-speed flows

Desired Skillset: Candidates with a background in experimental exposure, and free jet flows will be preferred.

Nature of Work: Performing quantitative and qualitative experiments for diverse range of elliptical plug nozzles at over-expanded conditions using the free jet facility at IIT Kanpur.
