Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a funded project “A biomimetic scaffold-based approach for ligament tissue engineering (SERB/BSBE/2017311) by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) and the post is co-terminus with the project duration” at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Salary Range: Consolidate Rs. 25000 + HRA as per the institute norms.

Minimum Qualification: M. Sc. In Life Sciences/Biotechnology or B.Tech in Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering with GATE/NET.

Desirable Qualification: Candidate with GATE/NET qualification in the respective subjects with experience in mammalian cell culture (2D/3D), stem cell biology, polymeric biomaterial including hydrogels, scaffolds, films, fibers, Electrospinning, 3D bioprinting, are desirable. Candidate should have minimum six month experience in the field of tissue engineering preferably ligament tissue engineering.

The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview.
