Applications are invited for the post of temporary project positions in the Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored research Project (No. DST/SSTP/UP/428).
Title: "Community Based Integrated Water Filter System for Clean Drinking Water"
Junior Research Fellow: Two
Qualification: Post-graduation in basic sciences with NET qualification or graduate degree in professional course with NET qualification or post-graduate degree in professional course.
Desirable Qualification: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology/B.Pharma with two years of research experience.
Candidates with proven experience of working with environmental sciences, polymer technology, analytical chemistry and microbiology and having hands on experience with water analysis techniques will be given preference. Candidates are expected to work in a multidisciplinary research area and in the field.
Salary range: Rs.25,000/-per month +20% HRA (for NET qualified candidates or post-graduate candidates in professional courses); Rs. 16,000/-per month +20% HRA as per institute rules (for all other candidates).
Duration: All the posts are initially for one year and based on the performance will be extended further until duration of the project.
