Applications are invited for a scientist position in the DBT-Wellcome Trust sponsored research Project. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Title: Development of a highly efficient and immunologically inert adeno-associated virus based vector system for retinal gene therapy
Position: Project Post Doctoral Fellow
No. of positions: One
Qualification: PG degree (Msc/MTech/ MSc/MDS/ MD) with PhD (Life sciences/Biomedical Science) with 1 year experience in virology / gene therapy.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates should have experience in maintaining laboratory mice and significant expertise in mice experimentation procedures. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in molecular gene or cell therapy of ocular diseases. The candidate should ideally have 3 peer reviewed publications in this subject.
Duration: 6 months initially, extendable till the end of project.
Salary: Rs. 50000 (Consolidated)
