Applications are invited for one post of Project Mechanic in a project IITK/BSBE/2021094 at the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur. The appointment is purely temporary & on contractual basis.

Name of the Post: Project Mechanic

Salary Range: Rs. 8400-700-21000 (consolidated)

Actual salary will depend on qualification and experience.

Minimum Qualification: High school + 5 years of relevant experience

Number of position: One (01)

Desirable Qualification: At least five years of experience in a biology lab, including familiarity with common laboratory equipment (such as auto-clave and hot-oven) and animal breeding. Prior experience of rearing mosquitoes is desirable.

Only short-listed applicants will be called for an interview. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and work experience will not be called for the interview.
