Applications are invited for following temporary positions in a sponsored project (UGC/BSBE/2016377) at the Department of Biological Sciences & Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.
Project Scientist (two positions)
Minimum Qualification: PhD in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry
Desirable Work Experience: Postdoctoral research experience in cell biology and molecular biology areas, and an excellent track record with high impact publications. Preference would be given to those who worked on mechanism related to neurodegeneration, protein aggregates, and animal models for human disorders.
Salary range: Rs 22,000-2,200-44,000 (per month)
Senior Project Associate (one position)
Minimum Qualification: MSc with 1 year relevant experience
Desirable Work Experience: Senior research associate with minimum 4 years of work experience in cell biology and molecular biology areas, and an excellent track record with high impact publications. Preference would be given to those who worked on mechanism related to neurodegeneration, protein aggregates, and animal models for human disorders
Salary range: Rs 18,000-1,800-36,000 per month.
The above positions are purely temporary, and are for six months duration.
