Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the project titled "Electrokinetics in stone column encased by conductive geotextile: Performance assessment, and soft soil response" funded by the SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (One)

Salary: Consolidated salary of Rs. 37000/- per month.

Minimum Qualification: BE/B.Tech. (Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Material science and Engineering) with GATE score, Msc (chemistry / soil science), or M. Tech. in Civil / Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Material science and Engineering)

Candidate with background in Geotechnical Engineering and electrokinetic studies will be preferred.

Nature of Work: Experimental investigation of strength and deformation behavior of soft soils encased with stone columns. Evaluation of the influence of electrokinetic treatment on the soft clay response considering experimental and numerical approaches.
