Applications are invited for a Project Associate to work on the sponsored research projects entitled “National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP) Working Group-III project: Carbonaceous Aerosol Emissions, Source Apportionment and Climate Effects”. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Minimum Qualification and Exp: B. Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering

Job Description: The project work will require, use and maintenance of sampling instruments

Desired qualification: Preference will be given to those candidates who have knowledge of basic principles of mechanical and electrical systems used in motor vehicle technology, have one or more years of experience in field sampling, handling air sampling equipment, and is well versed with instrument details. Experience with data analysis and management, and fluency in use of online data presentation and management tools is highly desirable.

Salary range: Rs. 15000-1500-30000 per month based on qualification

Duration of appointment: one year contract (may be extended to another three years depending upon performance)
