Applications are invited for a Senior Project Scientist to work on the sponsored research project entitled “National Carbonaceous Aerosols Program (NCAP) Working Group-III project: Carbonaceous Aerosol Emissions, Source Apportionment and Climate Effects”. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.The details of the project and qualification requirements are given below:

Minimum Qualification and Exp: PhD + 2y experience in Environmental Sciences/ Earth Sciences/Chemistry or Environmental/Chemical engineering

Desired qualification: Preference will be given to those candidates who has one or more years of experience in operating an ICP-OES, EC-OC analyzer, HPLC, IC and/or GC-Mass Spectrometer and familiar with aerosol chemistry.

Salary range: Rs. 27000-2700-54000 per month based on qualification

Duration of appointment: one year contract (may be extended to another two years depending upon performance)
