Applications are invited for one temporary position of Project Engineer for the project “Design of painless syringe-needle assembly inspired by mosquito proboscis” at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Job Description:

To design, develop and assemble electronic and mechanical components in order to fabricate syringe prototype.

Minimum Qualification: M.Tech. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with specialization in instrumentation and / or controller design and/or Robotics.

Experience: Candidate should have carried out experimental work involving device manufacturing and characterization as part of M.Tech. Thesis.

Desirable Experience: Knowledge of working with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Labview or any other equivalent software.

Salary Range:

A consolidated salary will be fixed based on qualifications and experience and as per norms in the range of Rs. 26400-2200-66000.

The employment is for 1 year.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
