Applications are invited for a Project Associate position for the sponsored project, titled “Computational Studies Of Plasma Treated Polymers”  by Dr. Nisanth N. Nair  (Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur).Appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

The work involves development of computational modelling of complex chemical reactions involving polymers.

In this respect, we are also looking for candidates with good knowledge in chemical reaction mechanisms and previous knowledge in molecular modelling of chemical reactions using electronic structure methods.

Description of the Post

• Qualification: M. Sc. Chemistry & previous experience in modelling chemical reactions using quantum mechanical methods.
  
• Salary: Rs. 15000 - 1500 - 30000 pm
• Duration of the post:  March 01, 2018 - May 30, 2018, and has the possibility to extend for another 1 year.
