Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a funded project “CEFIPRA-5805-1 (CEFIPRA/CHM/2017211) by Indo-French Centre for the promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA) and the post is co-terminus with the project duration” at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

Salary Range: Consolidate Rs. 25000 + HRA as per the institute norms.

Minimum Qualification: M. Sc. with Gate/Net Qualification or BS-MS with Gate/Net Qualification.

Desirable Qualification: M. Sc. with Gate/Net Qualification or BS-MS with Gate/Net Qualification in general chemistry / chemical sciences, preferably from IIT/NIT’s. Having prior experience in handling air-sensitive compounds will have advantage over others but it is not mandatory.

Duration: The post initially for one year and based on the performance will be extended further until duration of the project.

The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
