Applications are invited for the position of Project Technician-III in the project entitled “A Fragment-based screening for the identification of covalent small molecule inhibitors targeting antimicrobial resistance in Staphylococcus aureus”, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India.

Project Technician-III (1 post)

Minimum Requirements: MSc/ MTech and a one to two years of research experience in medicinal/ Organic Chemistry. Preferably GATE or NET qualification.

Salary Range: Rs. 18,000

Duration: 1 year

Desired Requirements: Sufficient knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are preferable.

For Organic/ Medicinal chemistry MSc

• Synthesis of organic molecules/ methodologies
• Therapeutic evaluations against disease phenotypes

For biology MSc/MTech

• Bacterial culture/ tissue culture of mammalian cell lines
• Cloning, PCR, RT-PCR, Recombinant protein expression and Purification
• Protein Gels, Immunoprecipitation, western blotting

Age Limit: 35 years (at the time of last date of application submission)
