Application is invited for the post of 'Senior Project Associate' in Centre for Nanoscience Department, IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Essential Qualification: B.Tech + 1 years of relevant experience OR M.Sc. + 1 years of relevant experience OR B.Sc. + MCA + 1 years of relevant experience.
Desirable Qualification: The candidate should be able to handle project related documents, accounts and maintaining official records of the project, administrative tasks, depending on the requirement. He should be Adept and experienced in large data handling and archiving. Applicant should have good experience in coordinating with various sponsoring agencies, ministries and should have good command over drafting project establishment related proposals/reports etc. Applicant should have good knowledge about digital signature, Cryptographic USB Token, E-procurement portal in depth, e-tendering in various online e-tendering portal, inviting quotations, preparation of tender documents. Applicant should have good experience in website development and hosting (using client and server side language). Proven more than 8 years' experience in above mentioned areas and at least 18 month experience to handle a Central Facility in an academic environment.
Required software knowledge: MS Office Package, Visual studio Code, Dreamviewer/Brackets, WinSCP, XAMPP, MySql
Scale of pay: Rs. 21600-1800-54000
The institute reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualification and experience. Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
