Applications are invited for the post of Project Executive Officer in the Project numbered NAHI/CS/2020230 in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur.

Minimum qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s Degree Program along with a minimum of 05 years of experience in developing web applications, learning management system, cyber security audit of web applications, and working in a multi-disciplinary team developing cyber security products.

Consolidated Salary range: INR 50400-4200-126000

Working hours: 8:30 am to 6 pm (Monday to Saturday)

Desired qualifications:

• Professional Certification: ISO 27001:2022 (Lead Auditor).
• Proficiency in developing Drupal-based web applications.
• Experience in operating and maintaining Learning Management Systems.
• Experience in conducting Jeopardy-style capture-the-flag events.
• Experience in developing cyber security solutions and products

Major task of the successful candidate:

• Designing, developing, installing, and commissioning Drupal-based cyber security solutions.
• Designing, developing, installing, and commissioning Capture-the-Flag (CTF) platforms.
• Conducting on-site Cyber Security Audits.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Developing and delivering cyber security training programs for internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Keeping abreast of the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and threats, and recommending proactive measures to address them.

Duration: Appointment will be made initially for one year and can be extended up to five years or till the end of the project whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance. Performance reviews will be held weekly. The appointment can be terminated at any time if found unsatisfactory.
